Scroll to Quotations & Orders
Enable Online Payment
Click Save
Step 2: Install Xendit Payment Provider in Odoo
Before generating credentials, install the Xendit module in Odoo.
Steps to Install
Go to Apps
Search for Xendit
Click Install
Navigate to Sales → Configuration → Payment Providers → Xendit
Leave the credential fields empty for now (they will be filled later)
Step 3: Create a Xendit Business Account
To process Philippine payments like GCash, Maya, Cebuana and other online payments in Odoo, you need a verified Xendit account, To register a verified Xendit account, you need business certificates.
Visit Xendit
Click Sign Up → Register as a Business
Confirm your email
Log in to your Xendit Dashboard
Step 4: Complete Business Verification for Live Mode
To accept real GCash payments, We need a Live Mode Xendit Account or fully verified account, as mentioned above you need to have a Business Certificates to make your Xendit Account full verified.

⚠ Without verification, Live Mode cannot be activated. Once approved, your account can process real Philippine payments.
Step 5: Activate GCash and Other Philippine Payment Channels in Xendit

Activate:

Step 6: Generate Live API Keys in Xendit
Generating Live API credentials is necessary to link Xendit with Odoo.
Step 6.1: Switch to Live Mode
Log in to Xendit Dashboard → Settings
Scroll to Developer Card → API Keys
Ensure Live Mode is active
Step 6.2: Enable 2-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Click Generate Secret Key
Enable 2FA
Scan the QR code using the Google Auth or just enter the key manually
Enter the 6-digit code → Then click Next
Click the Generate Secret Key again to get your Secret Key.
Step 6.3: Create Secret API Key
Enter an API Key Name (e.g., Odoo Live Integration)
Set permissions:
Money-in Products → Write
xenPlatform → Write (optional)
Click Generate Key → Enter 2FA code
Copy the Live Secret API Key (shown only once)
Step 6.4: Copy Public Key & Webhook Token
Copy Public Key → Paste in Odoo
Scroll to Webhooks → Enter account password
Copy Webhook Verification Token → Paste in Odoo
Step 6.5: Enable Payment Methods in Odoo
Click Configuration → Enable Payment Methods
Activate GCash, GrabPay, Maya
Confirm GCash is Active
Step 7: Configure Webhook for Automatic Sales Order Confirmation
To fully automate the order confirmation and payment updates in Odoo Sales, you need to configure a webhook. This will allow Xendit to notify the Odoo immediately whenever a customer completes a Gcash or other Philippine payment.
Step 7.1: Locate the Odoo Webhook URL
Odoo provides a dedicated webhook endpoint for payment providers. This is the URL Xendit will call to inform Odoo about payment events.
How to Find Your Odoo Webhook URL:
Log in to your Odoo dashboard.
Go to Sales → Configuration → Payment Providers.
Open the Xendit Payment Provider you created earlier.
Look for the Webhook URL field.
Usually, it looks like this:

- Copy this URL — you will paste it into Xendit in the next step.
Step 7.2: Configure Webhook in Xendit
Now, you need to tell Xendit to send payment updates to Odoo.
How to Set Up the Xendit Webhook:
- Log in to your Xendit Dashboard.
- Navigate to Settings → Webhooks.
- Click Add New Webhook (or edit an existing one).
In the Webhook URL field, paste your Odoo webhook URL: https://yourdomain.com/payment/xendit/webhook

4. Save the webhook.
Note: This only functions on live mode.
Step 7.3: Locate the Webhook Verification Token in Xendit
Xendit uses a Webhook Verification Token to ensure that the payment notifications it sends are secure. Odoo uses this token to verify that the requests really came from Xendit.
How to Find the Webhook Token:
In the same Xendit Webhooks page, click on the webhook you just created.
Copy the Webhook Verification Token provided by Xendit.
It’s a long alphanumeric string.
Go back to your Odoo Xendit Payment Provider configuration.
Paste the token into the Webhook Token field.
Step 7.4: Test Webhook (Optional but Recommended)
Even in Live Mode, it’s a good practice to test your webhook.
In Xendit, use the Send Test Event button on your webhook.
Confirm in Odoo that a test payment notification is received.
Once verified, all live GCash payments will automatically update the corresponding Sales Orders in Odoo.
